Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Calea Beauty. By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. 
 

1. Salon Services 

Calea Beauty offers hair, skin, nail, and beauty services. All services are provided by licensed professionals under California state regulations. 

Service Accuracy 

We aim to deliver services as described. Results may vary based on hair/skin type, previous treatments, and aftercare. 

Right to Refuse Service 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disrespectful, abusive, appears intoxicated, or violates our policies. 
 

2. Appointments 

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. A confirmation will be sent via email or SMS. 

Late Arrival 

If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment to avoid delaying other clients. 

Cancellations 

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a forfeited deposit or added fee (see our Refund Policy). 
 

3. Pricing & Payments 

Prices are subject to change without notice and are displayed in U.S. dollars. 

  • Payment is due at the time of service. 

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and salon-issued gift cards. 

  • Gratuity is appreciated and goes directly to your stylist or technician. 
      

4. Gift Cards & Vouchers 

  • Valid for services and retail products only 

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash (except as required by California law) 

  • Expire 12 months from date of issue unless otherwise noted 

Lost, stolen, or expired cards will not be reissued or refunded. 
 

5. Retail Product Policy 

Unopened, unused products may be returned within 14 days with a receipt. Opened items may be exchanged only if defective or if an allergic reaction occurs (report within 7 days). 
 

6. Liability Waiver 

By receiving services, you acknowledge and accept the following: 

  • You have disclosed any allergies, medical conditions, or previous adverse reactions 

  • Calea Beauty and its staff are not liable for reactions due to undisclosed conditions or failure to follow aftercare instructions 

  • You release Calea Beauty from responsibility for loss or damage to personal items while on the premises 
     

7. Health & Safety 

For the safety of all clients and staff: 

  • Please reschedule if you are sick, contagious, or experiencing flu-like symptoms 

  • Children must be supervised at all times 

  • We follow all required California State Board sanitation and safety protocols 

 

8. Intellectual Property 

All images, branding, and content on our website or social media are owned by or licensed to Calea Beauty. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce them without written permission. 
 

9. Privacy Policy 

We collect personal data (e.g., name, phone, email) only to manage bookings and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. For full details, see our [Privacy Policy]. 
 

10. California Legal Compliance 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes must be handled in accordance with state law and resolved in a California court of competent jurisdiction. 
 

11. Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be posted on our website and in the salon. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
