Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers: 

  • Service cancellations (hair, skin, nail, or other in-salon treatments) 

  • Pre-paid items such as gift vouchers or packages 

  • Retail products (shampoos, cosmetics, etc.) purchased in-salon 

No online payments: Because services are paid for in person at the salon, refunds mainly relate to deposits, gift vouchers, and retail products. 

2. Service Cancellations & No-Shows

Time of change What happens Fee / Refund 

≥ 24hours before appointment Cancel or reschedule free of charge. Any deposit (if taken) is fully refundable or transferred to your new date. 

< 24hours before appointment Late cancellation. Deposit is forfeited or a late-cancel fee of $ Amount is added to your next visit. 

No-show You miss the appointment without notice. Deposit is forfeited and a no-show fee of $ Amount may apply before re-booking. 

Please arrive 10 minutes early; late arrivals may shorten your service without price reduction. 

3. Deposits 

For selected high-value or lengthy services we may request a 2020 % / fixed20 deposit when you book (by card or mobile wallet in-salon or via secure payment link). 

  • Fully refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 24hours24 hours24hours in advance. 

  • Non-refundable after the late-cancel / no-show windows above. 

4. Gift Vouchers & Pre-Paid Packages 

Item Refundable? Conditions

Digital or physical gift voucher Refundable within 30 days of purchase if California law: any remaining balance < $10 can be redeemed for cash. 

Pre-paid treatment package Refundable within 7 days of purchase if unused. If partially used, we deduct the full menu price of completed treatments and refund the remainder. 

Gift vouchers and packages are otherwise non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire 12months from purchase unless prohibited by law. 

5. Retail Product Returns 

We want you to love what you buy. Unopened, unused products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange with the original receipt. 

  • Opened or used items can be exchanged only if defective or if you experience an allergic reaction (notify us within 7 days; bring the product in). 

  • Clearance or final-sale items are non-returnable unless defective. 

6. How to Request a Refund or Return 

  1. Email info@calea.beauty or call +1 (559) 800-8808 with your name, booking ID or receipt number, and reason for the request. 

  1. For product returns, bring the item and original receipt to the salon. 

  1. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days (bank times may vary). 

7. Non-Refundable Situations 

  • Services already rendered 

  • Deposits after the late-cancel / no-show window 

  • Products damaged through misuse or neglect 

  • Gift vouchers or packages past their expiry date (unless otherwise required by California law) 
     


8. California Consumer Rights 

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA/CPRA) or other applicable state statutes. 

9. Policy Updates 

We may revise this policy periodically; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of our Services after an update means you accept the new terms.
